Soma Saga (2)

Got the DT TK 7.1 et PW wheels on it; DT 14g DB, Tanaka stainless fenders, now has a SKF bottom bracket

Soma Express 700x35 tires are really fat, measure 36mm+ across the section on rim; Pasela TG 700x35 on CR 18s only measure 31mm ish

Maybe 500 mi on it and like it!

Saddle is now a WBT Laser V which I will probably leave on it (Am Classic sp)

  1. Hi Chuck -- Looking for SOMA Saga pictures, I came across your site. How is the bike working out? What draws me to the Saga is that it has the geometry of the Atlantis (80mm BB drop, 45 cm chainstays) but the price tag of the LHT (47mm drop, 46 cm stays). Is this too good to be true?

  2. Its a pretty nice bike, I also have a tour rigged DoubleCross that also is a nice bike, slight nod to the Saga probably

The longer cs of the Saga are nice fender fit wise

I do like the DoubleCross Minoura front and IRD ss Khyber rear better than the Tubus racks on the Saga

I've sold some LHTs at the shoppe and the built up LHT is tuff to beat, tube set wise the Tange Prestige (Saga)is up a bit butt probably only to just talk about

Sold a custom 58 Saga this fall

    Tnanx for looking
